Stylish decor, dog-friendly, really good dining, and close to Muirfield Golf course and sandy bays.

Its location relatively near Muirfield Golf Club was great. Moreover, it's close enough to Edinburgh for emergency surgery, and North Berwick.

It was modern, luxurious and where afternoon tea was offered. A hair dryer, terry dressing gowns, and a shower cap were a plus. The location was central, right by garden outside, the centre and Edinburgh and other nearby towns.

The friendly staff and thoughtful dog amenities made our stay enjoyable, including tasty homemade granola at breakfast. the slow service during dinner detracted from the experience.

Staying here with our three kids was good! We had a blast exploring the nearby Muirfield Golf course, a true gem, and even enjoyed some family time on the sandy bays just a short stroll away. The spacious family suite.
In my wife's opinion, a kid's play area would enhance the experience.

The staff at the bonnie badger were super friendly. The room was beautifully clean, and the bath was gorgeous! We were overjoyed that our dog was also welcomed with her own bed and bowl. The food was very nice, especially the breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade granola, not your typical buffet! We felt it was peaceful and private even though it was busy.
the only downside was that at times it felt a bit cramped when busy, and we noticed some delays in service during peak hours.

Carrying heavy luggage to the rooms can be a struggle due to limited access. My room in the cottage annex felt a bit lackluster with cleanliness around the window, and the bathroom had insufficient space for essentials. Dining service was notably slow, especially waiting 30 minutes for starters and another 30 for mains. Couldn't fill the sink. Overcrowded dining area during busy hours might. While the aesthetics are great, the details didn't quite live up to expectations.

Delicious food and comfy stay!
Our room had these beautiful wooden beams and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was fab, especially the Scottish salmon! The restaurant is awesome, tricky to pick from so many good dishes. Still, totally worth it!

The stay was for our honeymoon, and we were impressed with the food, especially the breakfasts which featured fresh fruit and homemade granola. Although the room was not in the main hotel and felt a bit cramped, the beautiful decor and excellent service more than made up for it. Staff made us feel welcome and even congratulated us on our marriage, but we expected a bit more recognition for our special occasion. it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience despite a few minor drawbacks.

Fantastic stay with lovely details!
Spent 2 nights in a beautiful room and it was great! The staff were super nice and really went outta their way to help us. Loved the little touches like night drinks and homemade cookies! The food in the bar area was fab. One downside? The price of some dishes felt a bit steep for what you got.
